About the Artist
Albino is a primarily acoustic six-piece band based in London. The core of guitar, piano, violin, bass and percussion combines with a range of other varied instrumentation, including bouzouki, flute, trombone, ukulele, accordion, harmonium, recorders and vibes. The band plays regularly around London and is led by Ben Tucker, who is also a headhunter by day, and has brought the band together with university friend Matt Parker. Ben and Matt have collaborated for nearly fifteen years, and have been joined in recent years by Katy John (piano, flute, recorder etc.), Don Gibson (percussion) Mervyn Salole (bass), and Lorraine Grout (violin).
