These postcards are a great present for anyone.
The photos are pretty timeless so look at home on the fridge, as thank you notes, or just to browse through!

You'll receive exactly what is promised - one hundred postcards with the pictures of authors published at different times by Penguin. About a quarter of them are bona fide classics or widely known writers, like Kipling, Orwell or Vonnegut, not so sure about the rest. A great part of postcards are writers you've probably never read or haven't heard of if you're not the hardcore fan of Penguins books. The quality of pictures varies greatly. Some pictures are blurry or out of focus, which is understandable but I wasn't happy about that nevertheless. All postcards are published in a sturdy cardboard and have a postal backside. They'll come in a handy box.

I bought this as a Christmas present and almost kept it for myself. A lovely present for booklovers and at a great price. A good range of authors and complements other available boxed sets well. Please with how it arrived, for a heavy item, postage cost was very reasonable.
