5.0 out of 5 stars Victor at his very best, 20 Jan 2002
Quite simply the best episode of 'One Foot in the Grave'. From the Sci-fi opening scene gradually moving towards Victor's temple, to the scene near the end where he's high on cocaine (placed by 'the Man in the Shed' in packs of Phosphrogen) singing 'Mr. Tambourine man' whilst driving a motor-lawnmower and conspires to destroy the 'Summer House' of Patrick's new boss Miss Fortune (played by Rula Lenska). Inbetween Play School Children's Drawing Sessions being interrupted, the forementioned Man in the Shed recieving an application for an American Express card, Mr. Swainee's Mother's travels in Space and the Meldrew House being a 'Surgical Support Recycling Centre'. Be prepared to laugh yourself silly.

5.0 out of 5 stars This episode is brilliant, 8 Oct 2000

In this episode Victor suddenly becomes cheerful! He starts a new job gardening for Miss Fortune who is Patrick next doors boss. Victor is also pusuaded to take care of Mr Berkits dog by Mrs Warbouys. Victor builds a kennal and buys hoards of food for this little cocker spanial. when Mrs warbouys brings the dog over to the house there is a real explosion of humour. here are few lines

Mrs Warbouys-I'll just set him down here (the dog is in a large basket.

victor- ill just go and lock the back door incase he makes a bolt for it!

mw-there we go (she takes out a stuffed dog)

V-oh tell me this is just a joke

mw-its mr birkits dog, Nippy

v-Nippy, doesn't look very nippy from where im standing

later on victor comes in the kitchen with a bottle of milk with a snail stuck to the side.

victor-its amazing the suction of this snail. i bet if i were to let go the snail would support the bottle (he lets go and the bottle crashes to the ground leaving victor holding the snail) whoops a daisy

margeret-(screetches) leave it
