5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome book! 11 Nov 1998
By A Customer
Format:Mass Market Paperback
This is the neatest book! I read a lot of vampire books, and this is one of the most unique outlooks on the vampire condition I have ever read. Chris, Lupe and all the other characters are so fun to read! They're all original and not cut and dried like so many other vampires and humans in vampire stories. Sequal and more please! I really liked the cover too.

Once I started this book, I couldn't put it down. It has a really different take on vampires.
how would you like to be half vampire-half human and have all the supernatural mafia in the states after you?
Read this and find out. I want a sequel!

5.0 out of 5 stars definitely sequel material 15 May 1998
By A Customer
Format:Mass Market Paperback
I really enjoyed this book, but I want to see a sequel too. I think the ending kind of begs for one actually with the wife showing up, Lupe figuring it out, and the old vampire "hiding" somewhere in the background. I haven't read much in the way of vampire stories but I did like this one. My only knowledge of vampire lore comes from the movie Bram Stoker's Dracula, the TV series Forever Knight, and from an anime show I caught one Saturday morning about the son of a vampire (I'm not even going to try to spell the word!). This book definitely needs a sequel so PLEASE don't tell me the semi-vampire's story is finished!

5.0 out of 5 stars A truly new viewpoint of Vampires. Wonderful! 3 Aug 1998
By A Customer
Format:Mass Market Paperback
This is not your typical Horror/Fantacy Vampire novel. It starts with mystery, and horror. It mixes in Humor and wit, and then tops it all off with racing action. I could not put this book down! I hope there is a sequel in the works!
