Format:Blu-ray
I have always been an avid fan of this movie classic. Jack Nicholson's character portrayal of Randall P MacMurphy is fantasically steeped in character and humour. The blu-ray image is detailed and absorbing, and the cinematic lustre of the original film has been updated. A sane "Jack the lad" driven insane by the misdeeds of those in authority in a US mental institution. Number 1 movie, first class transfer.

Format:Blu-ray
well i watched this on blu ray last week and its brilliant, picture wise and sound wise.this film is an absolute classic its got every thing in it,its funny, its serious, and at times quite sad.its based in a mental hospital and as the story unfolds you will find out about all the other patients in there and why they are in there.this film is quite engroseing as the more you watch it the more you wanna know but i guess the 1 question that will never be answered and will get you thinking was mc murphy really mad or not .this is a real classic and a real gem of a blu ray.buy this you will not be dissapointed.

Great picture quality 3 April 2009
Format:Blu-ray
I don't think I have to write about the story, because there is enough written about this movie on the DVD site. I'll just review the quality of the blu ray transfer which is outstanding in my opinion. Years ago I owned the VHS which I sold on Ebay because I couldn't stand the the picture and sound quality. Now, I'm glad I didn't buy the DVD, but waited untill the blu ray.

Don't expect 'quantum of solace' or 'the dark knight' picture and sound quality, but I'd say they did a pretty good job and I'll be able to watch the movie again and enjoy it.

You cannot give this film 4 stars. 5 stars is a given. If you can make a better film then give it 4. Lets face it thats never going to happen.

Bluray not perfect
There is more or less noise and unsharpness in parts of the film, sometimes as much as a faint, white mist. Read more

All-time Great
What a movie! In my book one of the best ever, even more enjoyable in high definition. If, like me, you found the book incomprehensible, you really need to watch the movie. Read more
