5.0 out of 5 stars Another String To Jamie's Bow!!!! 14 April 2001
By A Customer
Format:Paperback
Each and every book of Jamie O'Keefe has touched upon something new and this new release is no different. Apart from a great title, and brilliant cover design. The whole concept of No-one Fears When Angry and the subject of Anger ties in neatly within the self protection field. However it goes a lot further than that. Far from being just a self protection book. There is an element of personal development there also. Though not talking from a spiritual/religious perspective of 'dont let things get to you & turn the other cheek because anger is bad' but a view that is likely to address the main population who require some form of understanding around the whole subject without the complexity of other books on dealing with your emotions. It addresses the issue of where anger does go to far and how it effects us in a negative way. The various chapters range from a wide number of subjects such as 'Types of Anger', 'territorial anger' to 'Switching anger on and off' to 'Suppressed Anger.' I found it to be thought provoking, simple/easy to grasp and the advice put forward realistic and achieveable. Personally, when I have asked people for advice on dealing with anger in the past - they came across as sarcastic/judgemental which made me feel defensive and a lot worse. This book doesnt do that! Its sole purpose is designed to make you think and hopefully help you live a better quality of life. In some ways, for me, it was a bitter pill due to the fact that I saw aspects of myself (not the very nice ones) which I didnt like but that came accross in a very non-judgemental way which I liked and appreciated and learnt from. Highly recommended for everyone and guaranteed to help you in one way or another. Also great present for those who are bitter, or who have a problem with dealing with their temper. Well done Jamie and I look forward to your future releases.

5.0 out of 5 stars "No I'm not blimmin' angry!!!" 26 Sep 2001
By A Customer
Format:Paperback
This book is a must read for any one who's angry & anyone that thinks they don't get angry. If you've read Jamie's other books you'll love this latest read. Whilst reading this book I noticed that a lot of people I know come into one of the anger categories. I never saw myself as an angry person ever. However, months later, when Jamie told me to read a certain chapter or page again I realised that perhaps I did get angry sometimes and had to admit that everyone will recognise themselves in this book... 5.0 out of 5 stars I highly recommend Jamie Ok'eefe and his books 21 May 2001
Format:Paperback
I have read all Jamie O'Keefe's work and could not put it down and after reading what he had to say on the subjects he has written I could tell he was not just another martial artist in jeans or an arm chair theorist trying to speak about the real aspects of of self defence/self protection He speaks the truth and talks from real life experience. I would highly recommend his books and teachings to anybody who fears being bullied, fears fighting back and fears the unknown.
