Ok so I didn't expect much from this, and this is definitely a tongue in cheek film! I am not sure they could have got more random than a porn star's unattached member hunting down the cast of his latest film! It really is one of those film that you have to see to believe, some of the one liners are pretty funny. In all honesty I have seen worse things to come out in the horror genre.
Overall, funny and worth a watch for a giggle, but don't expect any Oscar-winning performances!

I bought this mostly because of Amber Benson's presence in the movie. It is a horror-comedy with its tongue firmly in its cheek. The cast and crew of a porn movie are hunted down by a murderous phallus.
The acting is very much in the 50's B-movie style and is all the funnier because the cast are playing it all completely straight.
Its not perfect, as some of the acting a one critical moment is so off the pace that it destroys any sense of tension or drama. That aside though, it works well.
However, I can't quite understand why this movie is an 18. Given the premise there is very little blood (seen more in PG's) and the language is certainly no more than you would find in a 15, same for the nudity 9which comprises of one love scene with clothes on and another who is topless). yes there are a lot of sex references but nothing so gross as to be out of place in a 15. So anyone expecting this film to ahve excesses of nudity, sex or gore are in for a shock as the film really is lacking in all departments. So I''m not sure at all why it got the cetificate it did but thee it is.
In short this film is good fun and will wile away 80 minutes pleasantly enough. there are a good few laugh out loud moments and I had a goofy smile throughout most of the film. Its good fun and kind of sweet in its own really naughty way.

Pleasantly surprised by this one. My brother recommended it so thought I would take a look.
Yes it stars porn actors but don't expect lots of nudity or sex. Their is only one scene of nudity and thats it, and one sex scene where you get some topless action, which if your into Ron Jeremy is fine.
Also their surprisingly little blood or gore, and so like one of the other reviewers I cannot fathom why it was rated an 18.

It also has some affectionately funny digs at porn movies which fit in to the film nicely.

You might want a few drinks first before watching this film and you certainly need to be in the right mood to watch something this stupid but its a good film none the less. Read more
