A book about a train journey to the beach with great rhymes and a simple story. Excellent for counting as each page starts with a different number. Every illustration on that page corresponds with the number theme e.g. two three clickity clack (there are 2 rabbits, 2 birds, 2 sheep, etc). Nice clear illustrations with lots of small detail. My daughter (aged one) loves pointing out the ducks, the fish, the rabbits, etc. I think it's a great book which will be loved for years.

This is my 16 month olds second fave book. The first is the other book from series-stop at the red light. Pictures are detailed yet clear, good rhyming pattern and perfect story length. Slightly older children would benefit from both books in more advanced ways, wish there were more!

Great Book, What's with the price? 1 July 2008
By Anna - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Board book
I bought this book at a RiteAid for $3 US. It's absolutely my husband and daughter's favorite (she is just under two). Its fun to make sounds, rhyme and has great pictures with sparkly / holographic type parts. Its a nice story, quality pictures with many things to point out. But what's with the price on Amazon? $75 from outside sellers. It is just a board book. If you are in dire need of a copy, I recommend buying from Amazon UK where it is available for the equivalent of about $1.
