If you like Michael ball you must have this cd. michael ball is at his best,and the songs are lovely. The songs are songs you listen to over and over again, and you get value for money.

EVERY SONG ON THIS ALBUM IS BRILL. "WHEREVER YOU ARE","THE LOVERS WE WERE", "IN THIS LIFE", "MY ARMS ARE STRONG" ARE ALL BEAUTS. "TAKE MY BREATH AWAY" IS DONE IN A VERY CLEVER WAY AS AT THE END YOU HAVE MICHAEL SING OVER HIS OWN VOICE IF PLAYING ON A BIG HI-FI HE SINGS DIFFERANT THINGS TROUGH EACH SPEAKER IT'S LIKE HE IS IN THE ROOM! "FROM HERE TO ETERNITY" AND "WHEN WE BEGAN" SEE MICHAEL GOING FOR A UP BEAT GROOVY MELODY. I THINK HE SINGS MORE UP BEAT SONGS VERY WELL HE IS A SHOWMAN AFTER ALL WHICH MAKE THESE TWO SONGS SMASHERS! "LEAVE A LIGHT ON" IS MY FAV ALSO A UPBEAT SONG AND "ALL OR NOTHING" IS A POWER BALLAD IN ITS OWN RIGHT. "I WOULDN'T KNOW" IS MY 2ND FAV ALL ABOUT A LOST LOVE YOU DON'T SEE ANYMORE HENCH THE LYRIC "I WOULDN'T KNOW I HAVEN'T SEEN HER, I COULDN'T SAY IT'S BEEN A WHILE, I HAVEN'T THOUGHT ABOUT HER LATELY SO I WOULDN'T KNOW" ALL IN ALL MY FAVOURITE ALBUM HE HAS EVER DONE, HE HASN'T MADE ONE TO BEAT IT YET.

Very rare that I buy a CD with no songs on the album that I have ever heard of, but having seen Michael live in concert and being hugely impressed I took a chance and bought this CD.
Was I glad I took a chance? having heard it the answer is a definite "YES"! They are all beautiful songs wonderfully sung.
Word of warning though - track 2 is very hard to get out of your brain after hearing!

One Careful Owner by Michael Ball
Michael Ball has a truly amazing voice. I first heard him two months ago and now own six of his CD's. This one is at the top of my list. He can sing any song and make it his own!
