Got this back in 2007. I love everything Peter has released whilst in Kiss and solo he was and still is my favorite member of Kiss past or present. The famous Peter Criss raspy voice seems to have gone though replaced with crooning delivery which might be down to a healthy lifestyle. Peter should have got himself a producer for this rather than do it himself.

There are some really good songs on the disc Last Night, Doesn't Get Better Than This, Falling All Over Again and Space Ace the ones I particularly enjoy.

The problem is the songs don't sound finished, if it was a demo collection I could understand it but it is not and there are too many out of tune moments in the vocal delivery. Vinnie Poncia the producer of the bulk of Peter's solo albums would not have accepted these as a final take, not in a million years. I can only recommend this to hard core Peter Criss fans. If he could have gone back into the studio and re-recorded the vocals this could have been a damn fine album a real achievement for Peter.

I just hope that this isn't the final chapter, it is not worthy of being that. Peter is capable of so much more.

A really terrible, self indulgent pile of steaming cr@p!!

This guy really thinks he can both sing and drum.

Guess what, he really can do either.

Peters first solo album whilst in KISS was the weakest by a mile, age has not been kind. This makes it a masterpiece!

Avoid this and by an Ace solo album instead. At least he entertains you occasionally.

Got my CD July 24th 2007 when it came out here in the US. Really good album from Peter. Do not expect a KISS sound here or Criss Cat 1 sound either. This is a totally different effort with some Jazz and adult contemporary. Good to see Peter being true to himself. This is a more mature sound and it is refreshing to hear. Best songs are "Doesn't Get Better Than This" "Last Night" (Cover)"Send In The Clowns" "Whisper" and a song that could be released as a single on either adult contemporary or even country and be a minor hit for peter if given the airplay the song is "Falling All Over Again" . I give this album 4 Stars.

I am totally unsure about this CD from the Catman. I wasn't expecting a master album of songs, going by Pete's past solo material, but I think they where more consistant in singing and writing. This is a very much more laid back Peter, showing more of his Frank Sinatra, Gene Krupa style influance. Too many ballads on this CD and a more of a easy listening album than a rock n roll Pete we all know. There is some good lyrical content and musical riff's etc, but it is missing that little extra something special. So hence only the three stars, maybe after a few more listens the album will grow on me, only time will tell. He is to release a proper jazz and swing style album in 2008 (I Hear), but from this affair, I think he can do better writing and singing: Beth, Hard Luck Woman, I Can't Stop The Rain, Jealous Guy (cover), Blue Moon Over Brooklyn, Feels Like Heaven, and Tears (cover) to name a few. Do check out the other Criss post KISS solo albums, Out of Control, Let Me Rock You, and Cat#1 for the more Catman like tracks.

Being a big Kiss fan, bought the record as soon as it came out and when I listend to it a few times i was really positively surprised by Criss - what a solid mature jazz record. Don't get me wrong, i didn't expect the cat man, but still didn't think the record would have so much heart in it, so now i'm lovin it more every day and i dare say it that it's much more solid than Pauls Live to win album that is also good, but this one is on a higher level and really shows Criss as a true musician that he always was.
