I have just finished reading this book, largely the life story of the author. Interesting story of the hardships of life which we all face in various forms. Her story showed the lack of structure her life took with neither children or a partner or a settled start in life. This life did however in the end give her the freedom to move as she wished and adopt the lifestyle she feels at peace with without considering or being hampered by others. The book could have explored the life she leads now a little more. She works with Gary Renard and I am sure this is a interesting though provoking group of people.

This book will make you laugh, cry, and forgive everyone! 4 Sept. 2009
By Susan Schenck - Published on
Format: Paperback
I found this book to be a real page-turning adventure! It was very entertaining to read, even a second time, which I very rarely do. Parts of it read like a novel and parts of it like a spiritual journey with wisdom learned and shared.

Parts of it just make you laugh out loud or cry.
Furthermore, the book is a "walk down memory lane" for those of us Baby Boomers, as Linda recounts the songs listened to during her adventures. The images and descriptions are sure to conjure up memories of the `60s, `70s, `80s and `90s.

Linda came from a middle class church-going family from Pennsylvania, yet after being gang raped, her life changed. Linda shares with us her life of molestation, promiscuity, alcohol abuse, climbing the corporate ladder, death of family members, abortion, materialism, bankruptcy, and constantly moving. She speaks for a generation of "free spirits" who buried their pain in the fast lane with a constant turnover in lovers, jobs, and even cities. Despite all the abuse (including sexual harassment at work) Linda's spiritual journey led her to a deep forgiveness which enabled her broken soul to become one again. Only then does she become a TRULY free spirit!

But this book is not just about forgiveness--Linda's courage to finally "just say no" to soulless jobs and live on trust and intuition is a real inspiration, especially in these troubled economic times!

This book will undoubtedly inspire many people to let go of their past pains and resentments to become truly free. When my mom died, her last words to me were to FORGIVE, forgive EVERYONE. If Linda can forgive all the people in her life that hurt her, so can we!

This story is for anyone who ready to make a positive change in their lives. This change however is not accomplished by changing things in our world, but by simply deciding to see things differently. We all have this capacity to make lasting changes on how we see the world, and thus bring more love, peace, and purpose into our lives. Linda's book can help anyone start this journey of tranformation.

This is the fascinating account of one very courageous woman's journey as she faced and beat seemingly impossible odds. With candor and heart, the author shares the story of how she struggled to heal herself from the trauma of sexual and emotional abuse, and how she rose above a life of poverty, drugs, prostitution and homelessness! This book will inspire many people to discover the practice of true forgiveness so that they too can begin the journey of healing and find love and peace.

A Holy Partnership 3 Dec. 2010
By Joseph M. Wolfe - Published on
Format: Paperback
Linda McNabb's One Again is everybody's story. It describes a life journey through the peaks and valleys of a search for the kind of Peace that cannot be found any other way. Her book moved me to laughter, then to tears, and was impossible to put down! She weaves a remarkable account of the path of a soul desperately crying out for help, falling many times only to rise up from the ashes of misery to become the flaming lotus of Light that she is. And like the lotus flower, it emerges from the depths of the slime of a murky pond to explode into an expression of uncommon beauty and brilliance Thank you Linda McNabb. Your book is truley one of the best examples of how the phoenix of pure Love and inspiration, real enlightenment, arises from the ashes of human despair. GodSpeed Linda McNabb. Thank you!

This book touched my heart and my Soul. Anyone who has ever struggled and who has ever questioned life, this book is for you! Linda eloquently describes the way out of pain and suffering in a way that makes you WANT what "she found." She lifts you up to Truth and shows you (through words and acts of forgiveness) how easy it is to stay there. If you have ever doubted life and existence and if you have ever felt pain then you can benefit from this book. It offers a good dose of insight and self-realization for all. It's a must read!!
