The format of this book is so clever - on each page you get a choice of 6 items to include in the story, ranging from the sensible to the down right silly!
Although the book may seem primarily aimed at girls, my 4 year old son has loved it since he first received it for his third birthday. There is plenty to appeal to boys; my son particularly likes to pick a magic toilet to meet the princess, and to make her pet an octopus! The illustrations are very pleasing and the story simple but appealing.
I would definitely recommend this book to all children from 2 upwards. Incidentally, now my son is learning to read it makes an excellent first reader too!

My little girl aged 2 loves this book. I would recommend it if your child doesn't really like sitting listening to stories and prefers to be more involved. It would also make a great present for similar age groups.

I bought this book for my 3 year old daughter and she loves it. We have read this book over and over again and due to the play cards/characters the story for a 3 year old can change time and time again - keeping their interest and making the story very funny. I initially got this from a library and when it had to go back my daughter wanted to keep it so I went and bought one for her. Service and attention from World of Books Ltd was absolutely brilliant.

Great concept.
My 4 old loves this book. Brilliant concept with the pop out pics. Different stories everyday and it keeps her entertained.

Great book where you can change the story
I bought this book for my 5 year old daughter. She loves it. You change the story by changing inserts in the page and you can put some really silly things in which she loves. Read more

Fab book, so entertaining!
I love this book, it keeps my 2 yr old entertained for ages changing how she wants the story to go. Really funny too, lots of shared laughs, and loads to talk about on each page. Read more

Lovely book
This book is a lovely idea and my 2 year old loves getting involved in the story . We also have the Pirate Pete book aswell which is just as good.

Great book
I had the pirate pete version of this for my 2 year old son years ago and have just bought this as a present for a 2 year old girl and it is a lovely concept to change the story.
