You can place it anywhere, but don't expect a signal.,

I decided to buy this antenna for college, as my room is not very big and 'Once for all' states that it can be placed anywhere out of sight, and takes up little room. This is true because the antenna is only a few millimeters thick, and extremely light. The only problem is that it cannot pickup a very goog signal, and in most cases none at all. I tried this both in my dorm and at home, and I could not get a signal that I could watch for long before it cuts out. If you are in an area with very good siganl strength and you can place it close to a window it may work for you, but for me it did not work, and so I would advise you to purchase an alternative antenna.
