On Your Potty! is an board book for toddlers by Virginia Miller, illustrator of Get Into Bed!. Miller's illustrations in On Your Potty! are tremendously cute and engaging through her use of bold, free-style pencil strokes set against a background of cartoon-like simplicity and characters who have well-observed and expressive faces and posture.
The equally simple text is written in a way perfect for reading aloud, with lots of opportunity for characterisation on the part of the reader, and suspenseful pauses--just how will the forgetful Bartholomew make it to his potty in time? I have read this book to both my children. They love joining in when Bartholomew (Ba) says "Nah". He is a lovable, naughty bear, very like most toddlers. It has a similar theme and story to the other books "Eat Your Dinner" "Be Gentle" and "Go to Bed", but this is fine as very small children love the repetition and familiarity. It is particualrly funny when the little bear needs his potty in a hurry!

My daughter loved this story of the young bear Ba, who says 'NAH' to everything. ('Do you want your potty Ba?' 'NAH' said Ba). Very true to life! Buy it

Children immediately identify with this little bear, and love to join in with his naughty protests - "Nah!" Bartholomew eventually learns to use the potty, and hopefully the young readers will copy him. I have rarely seen such charming illustrations. Excellent reading for pre-school children.
