Product Description

Where are all the exciting men in London? After spending years in the glittering ballrooms of the town, Amanda Cynster is utterly bored by the current crop of bland suitors. Determined to take matters into her own hands, one night she shockingly goes where no respectable lady ever should, but where many an intriguing gentleman might be found. But titillating excitement quickly turns to panic when Amanda discovers she's quite out of her depth. She looks around for help - and is unexpectedly rescued by the Earl of Dexter. Lean, sensuous, and mysterious, he has delayed re-entering society, preferring instead a more interesting existence on its fringes.

He's the epitome of the boldly passionate gentleman Amanda has been searching for, but although his very touch makes it clear he's willing to educate her in the art of love, Amanda has to wonder if such a masterful rake can be sufficiently tamed into the ways of marriage.

Format:Mass Market Paperback
This is the 7th book in Laurens' series about the Cynsters. IMV the best books have been Devil's Bride and All About Love. This book features Amanda Cynster, one of the twin cousins of the Bar Cynster, and her search for a suitable husband. Having exhausted her options among the eligible members of the ton she decided to look among the non-eligible, i.e. the members of the demi monde. Needless to say she does find the perfect candidate and the book is about how she persuades him to marry her.
The good aspects of this book are the hero, who is quite nice, and that the murder mystery does not take up too much of the book.
The not so good aspects are that the other Cynsters do not feature as heavily as I would have liked and that the murder mystery is very much tagged on. IMV it should either have been left out alltogether or been more meaty.

What a Wild Book 30 Aug 2007
Format:Paperback
This was the very first book I read of Miss Laurens, and I was stuck to every page. Since I bought this book I got addicted to her writing and bought millions since. On a wild Night partner to On a wild Dawn is the story of Lady Amanda Cynster who is utterly bored by the current crop of colorless suitors. Determined to take matters into her own hands, one night she shockingly goes where no respectable lady ever should, but where many an intriguing gentleman might be found.

But titillating excitement quickly turns to panic when Amanda discovers she's quite out of her depth. She looks around for help -- and is unexpectedly rescued by the Earl of Dexter. Lean, sensuous, and mysterious, he has delayed re-entering society, preferring instead a more interesting existence on its fringes.

He's the boldly passionate gentleman Amanda has been searching for, but although his very touch makes it clear he's willing to educate her in the art of love, Amanda has to wonder if such a masterful, lionized rake can be sufficiently tamed into the ways of marriage and find out why such a man is living on the fringes in the fisrt place.

Yes this plot may sound dull but trust me it hides some very interesting and book gripping plots read it, it doesn't disappoint.

This book is about the Cynster twin Amanda and how she plots to catch a man like her cousins. The plan is to appear in the more shocking places in order to bring out the possesive streak in her chosen man. If you are a fan of Stephanie Laurens this one is a must, not easy to put down and has plenty of erotic scenes written as only Laurens can.
