Product Description

Three classic slices of vintage On The Buses. In 'The Inspector's Neice'(1970), Sally is the Inspector's niece and is put on Stan's bus as the new clippie. How will Stan cope with her Uncle Blakey watching? In 'The Lodger' (1971) the Butlers rent out their spare room to the new Traffic Manager. But Olive gets more than she bargained for when she takes him up his breakfast! In 'Stan's Worst Day' (1972) Stan's having a bad week anyway, what with Olive and Arthur arguing at home and being brought up by Blakey for lateness but now he's only gone and crashed a bus!

5.0 out of 5 stars Good old English comedy 23 Nov 2008
I own the whole series and also the three films for this excellent comedy. It's so funny (and can be true to life going by my local bus service!) I love Stephen Lewis as Blakey, he's hilarious. I never tire of watching this. Whenever I feel low, I just put on "On The Buses" and it never fails to cheer me up. I wish they made great comedy like this nowadays. We should see more of this great series on TV. So, come on, TV producers what about On The Buses. On The Buses/Mutiny On The Buses/Holiday On The Buses [1971]On The Buses: The Complete Series Boxset

5.0 out of 5 stars Classic comedy and highly entertaining! 12 Jan 2010
Well, If you your a fan of classic comedy then On the Buses is certainly worth a watch. The characters are amazing and the episodes are highly amusing. Although this DVD only offers three of the episodes of On the Buses, its cheap to buy and funny all the way. If you are an On the Buses fan already, I would say you need to buy the full series one by one or the whole boxset. If you haven't seen this comedy, buy this first to see if you like it. Most people will love this comedy as the lines and quotes the characters use are hilarious! There are no extras on this DVD but its good value for money and worth the buy, especially if your new to watching the show.
