Why oh Why did this book have no translations. As a student of Classical Rome with only a little Latin, I bought this book for its unusual content.
The book itself is not a large one (96 pages), containing examples in the original Latin with glosses. I cannot help but feel that this book would have reached a wider audience had the authors deemed to supply translations at the back of the book. This would have served not only as a check for those atempting translation, but would also have allowed those without any Latin to fully understand and appreciate what was written. A nice book, but all in all lacking and to me a dissapointment.
