I got a swift delivery of the book from the seller and it was in great condition. So I would definitely buy from them again. I guess each reader likes different kinds of material and I don't assume that everyone will like it but I certainly do! I am biased in that I have lived briefly in Japan including the area around Osaka, and am a christian also, as well as being a fan of christian biographies. If any of those apply to you then I wholeheartedly recommend this book. One big reason for me liking it is that the writer brings himself across as a very human christian with all the hopes and fears common to us all, but at the same time it's a great story of a normal person being used effectively in the hands of God - the story of the couple really. It's about the writer and his wife being willing to follow God even when it's not easy. It doesn't give a false notion of "this was amazing and so was everything else". The writer does write of things they struggled with, as well as the encouragements. He writes in a down to earth manner with humour too. And it's also challenging to me in a helpful way, to look to God again to help me serve him even if it's staying at home in England. BUY THIS BOOK!
