Since Jennifer's last collaboration with Pitbull went so well [Fresh Out The Oven - please note the use of sarcasm] it was only natural that she would team up with him again. The result sounds like her old On The 6 singles and it was meant to; Jennifer asked writer/producer Redone to come up with a track that was the evolution of her classic sound and the lead single was the result.
Lyrically it's follows a basic 'get down and boogie' formula, but the r&b/pop/Latin/Lambada music screams summer, so this is a very appealing song. I didn't like it at first, but once you hear it it takes root in your head and you'll be humming it for months.

Take a very popular hispanic melody from another song, pair up with Pitbull (who is in blistering form at present), and throw in a very energetic dance floor friendly chorus. Jennifer Lopez herself, is at her best in this and gives more than a reminder that she is still one of the best singers on the planet.
The track itself is very user friendly, pleasant, catchy and addictive. She could not go wrong with this one.
If all this was not enough, it is complete with a top draw video, and currently number one in the charts.
Strangely, this track is to be featured on NOW 79, but an inferior version that excludes Pitbull.

A bit forgotten latin sex-bomb is back. And back is one of the biggest hits of the 80's, too. "On the floor" contains sample from "Lambada" performed by one-hit-wonder Kaoma.
I am not a big fan of Jennifer. In fact, I limited her presence in my life to a few singles.
This one is going to join the rest.
It is a good dance number, with catchy chorus and rapping Pitbull.
It is a shame that there are no more remixes on this single (only one).
The Low Sunday Club remix is more agressive than the original version and doesn't meet my expectations. Spanish version wouldn't do a harm to anybody if presented here:)
The bottom line is: not bad for a comeback song, where is the proper maxi single release?
