I was aware of Gina as a parenting guru, but never considered her as an author for children until I was given these books. My daughter, 11 months, absolutely loves them all. This one is the favourite of us both because, of course, the pictures and textures are accompanied by noises. The illustrations are wonderful too - they remind me a little of Eric Searle's Hungry Caterpillar in that they are colourful but not too blocky.

My twins absolutely adore this book - I bought it as they're so keen on animals and visiting our local city farm. The love touching the sheep's fleece, and making each animal's noise as they turn the pages. They also identify with Tom and Ella - a boy and girl just like them! A real hit so I will go and get the rest of the set.

This is a great board book for inquisitive little minds. There is a good range of textures for children to feel on the animals. My little boy is 10 months old and he really likes this book. He loves anything with animals in it but I think that most children do so this book is sure to be a hit. My 2 and 4 year old nieces also really like this book and often pick it up to look at when they come over.
