Sevn has managed to avoid most of the harsh realities of living as a hated wolfing in faun territory. He and his grandfather—a renowned smith—live tucked away on a small island, making and selling fabled weapons. However, Sevn’s grandfather is ailing. Soon, even their skill at the forge will not be enough to keep them safe from the fauns who hate and fear them. When Sevn is visited by a band of outlaws, he learns that the weapons he sells are being used to kill his own kind. The time has come to make a difficult choice.
