Robin Ward has some interesting and worthwhile things to say. The product description on this page gives you a good idea of his view of the Church, priesthood and the Eucharist. His arguments are refreshingly unfashionable. What makes this tiresome to read, however, is his writing style. He would rather use three words where one would suffice, and never uses a short expression if he can utilise a polysyllabic verbal and complex syntactic construct. The result is that it feels as though he has something important to say, but not enough to make a book.
