| How to Brush Your Teeth With the Omron Sonic Style 1. Clean the tooth facing and the top of the teeth. Move the toothbrush slowly from tooth to tooth. 2. Clean the border between the teeth and gums. Move the brush slowly ensuring that you do not press too hard onto the teeth. Only the tip of the bristle should make contact with the surface of each tooth. 3. Don't forget the backside of the front teeth. Hint: Use the Point Swing Mode for perfect results and hold the brush vertically 4. Clean the brush head. run the brush head under the tap to rinse all residue.        |

I have had very disappointing experiences with the two major brands of sonic brushes, both the rechargeables and the battery ones. While they work very well, it has not been that easy at times to get new brush heads and after a while they have just seemed to wear out and no longer work. I was therefore very pleased to find this alternative and at a more reasonable price.
Mine does a very good job, comparable to the others I have used and probably slightly less noisy, (which is an advantage if one is using the brush at night not far from others who may be asleep). It may be no coincidence that, after a break from having a dentist, (when my former dentist opted out of the NHS and a new dentist was difficult to find), in my recent check up, I only needed a clean and polish, as no other problems had been found. I feel sure that having used a sonic toothbrush, all this time, has warded off the dreaded drill or worse. Before using a sonic brush I always seemed to need a filling or more.
I have not used the pointed inter-dental brush yet, but feel sure that this will be very useful and helpful.
Those who would want the Omron for use by the whole family will not find it so useful that the coloured rings, provided with the other brushes, do not come with the brush heads, enabling members of the family to recognise their own brush heads. At the same time, I am sure that marking round the bases of the brush head handle parts with suitable waterproof coloured marker pens would do just the same job.
If the Omron only lasts as long as the others that I have used, at least I have not spent out so much money. On the other hand, if it lasts longer that will be even better. My only concern is that replacement brush heads will still be readily available in the future and even if Amazon may not benefit from this, it would be very handy if supermarkets and high street shops started to stock Omron's, as well as having the replacement heads readily available, (which they can be rather slack on doing with the other brands). Oh yes! and it would be so helpful if the replacement brush heads were generally not so expensive. Likewise if the package included the inter-dental brush as well as the standard plus spares right from the start.

Bought for 10 year old daughter as her first "grown up" toothbrush. She likes it and now uses it a lot more regularly than previous ones. Good value and seems to work nicely.

I'm very happy with this little toothbrush, the size is ideal for traverling, and the battery life is still strong, even after four weeks + and a lot of brushing. Cleans teeth beatifully
