Compressor Nebulisers (CompAir range)
Still going strong, the compressor nebuliser is without doubt the most popular device being used for inhalation therapy. Thanks to the robust build and reliable operation, our nebulisers are suitable for versatile usage.
The Omron CompAir C28 is supplied with our unique VVT (Virtual Valve Technology) nebuliser medication chamber, a new innovation from Omron to improve the quality of the aerosol and maximise medication penetration, leaving as little residue as possible. Each of Omron's nebulisers can deliver drug solutions and suspensions very efficiently, as they have this low residual volume. The particle size is also small to ensure that the medication can penetrate deep into the respiratory system.
| VVT Nebuliser technology VVT (Virtual Valve Technology) means more of the aerosol in a respirable size is available for the patient to inhale. The VVT nebuliser behaves like other venturi type nebulisers with valves but the unique design means there are fewer parts to lose and less parts to clean, meaning a more hygienic and easier-to-clean nebuliser chamber. | ![]() |

Excellent buy,

This nebuliser is small and lightweight. There ia a clip to hold the nebulising chamber when it is finished with; unfortunately it cannot be stored in the bag with the chamber attached like this - a loose cover would be a good idea. The switch is slightly difficult for older hands to manage due to the water protective cover over it. (Would have given 5 stars but for these minor problems)It comes with a choice of two mask sizes and the mouthspiece so will suit anybody. Several spare filters are provided. It nebulises quickly and is not excessively noisy. The chamber comes apart easily for cleaning and sterilising. All in all it represents excellent value for money particularly compared to the others available. I would recommend it.

This machine is a Godsend to me as I suffer with Chronic Bronchitis and Emphysema (C.O.P.D.). It is my life-line should I suffer from loss or lack of breath. The machine does,of course, require to be loaded with nebulised Salbutomol in which the machine turns the liquid into a fine mist which is breathed in through a face mask. The mask and tubes and liquid well are supplied with the machine as a complete hand-book. You do, however, need a doctor's prescription to obtain the Salbutomol nebuliser solution. This you can only get if you have been examined and diagnosed with C.O.P.D. My main point is that I have been using OMRON nebuliser machines for the past ten years and I found them to be very. very good for the purpose of keeping me breathing, (and alive)

Fantastic product, fantastic Amazon,
This review is from: Omron Comp Air Nebuliser (Personal Care)
I needed one of these machines quickly as all my surgery's machines were either loaned out already or not working. The cheapest I could find was a nebuliser for around £90 and then that could take up to a week to deliver which was not at all what I needed having been hospitalised with a chest condition and I required a nebulised treatment through the night. Why I didn't think to check Amazon firstly, I really don't know blame it on the prescription drugs I'm currently taking perhaps :-) but I was pleasantly surprised to find that yes, nebulisers are available to purchase for a fraction of the price of the high street chemists. Also, I could have my neb delivered the very next day making use of the excellent Express delivery. I ordered the day before just before 1 pm (lucky!) and got my delivery of this excellent machine before 9.00 am the very next day. The machine itself comes with everything you need to get going, including tubing, masks (child size and adult), mouthpiece and even a nose inhaler, medicine chamber, carry bag, instruction manual everything bar the nebules which you get from your doc on prescription. It was set up in no time and straight away I was seeing the comfort of the mist being formed so you know it's actually working (unlike those pesky machines I got from my doc). I just want to say a big thank you to Amazon, this machine really feels like it's something of a lifesaver for me, I can actually get a few hours sleep in the night and is a huge relief all round. Top marks for product and delivery, you knock spots off your competitors. Thank you.
