In my top 3 best irish traditional music albums. Played at a nice place with the emphasis on rythym rather than the speed which dominates so many other albums. Great tune sets which i guess are those that were played by Joe Cooley. Paul Brock doesn't play a big barnstorming accordian so in that sense it's no attempt to recreate the Cooley sound. Frankie Gavin plays in a restrained way with none of the usual fireworks but with a clear desire to let the instruments complement each other. I never get tired of playing this album - i had it as a cassette for many years before this. I've also tried to learn all the tunes as I like it so much.
