Book Description

30 April 2010
A range of exclusive, large format photographs, informative texts and technical details are the best way to present the most beautiful and most important wristwatches of the world's largest watch manufacturer, Omega. What made the Swiss luxury brand so memorable was their involvement in sports timekeeping and their sense for extraordinary events, e.g. they invented the watch that went to the moon and they stole the heart of James Bond by supplying him with the "Seamaster". The author presents about one hundred of the most remarkable models: the legendary Speedmaster "Moonwatch", which has preserved its unique character since 1957, todays wristwatches with Co-Axial technology, special editions such as "The Legend Collection", the "James Bond Edition" and the "Olympic Collection", "Seamaster" and many more exclusive models. This publication is a must-have for all fans and collectors of these unique wristwatches.

3.0 out of 5 stars Ho hum...This looks familiar 25 Oct 2010
Gives a very brief history of OMEGA SA then concentrates on some classic models, short descriptions of movement etc, and
small photographs of each wristwatch. Seamaster, speedmaster, legends, olympic collections are all here.
Certainly not a comprehensive history by any means, it's all been done before. If you want a complete history of OMEGA,
splash out and track down the rare title ' Omega a Journey Through Time '

1.0 out of 5 stars Super thin set of marginal information 6 Mar 2011
By Michael A. Duvernois - Published on Amazon.com
This is a thin book of photos and articles taken mostly from Omega watches press releases and brochures. It's an instant book intended to make a few dollars for the "author" but it's really a waste of time for someone interested in the watches. There are better images online and far more information as well. These are watches I like, but there's nothing here in this book for anyone who is interested in the watches. Look for better Omega coverage elsewhere!
3.0 out of 5 stars Another Omega watch book 14 Jan 2013
By Goh Joon Ngan - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover|Verified Purchase
One of the many books written about the Omega watch. Simple to read especially for first time owner of this brand.
