I was looking for a voice recorder that was simple to use, uncomplicated, inexpensive, small without being unreadable, and lightweight. This product fits the bill. I use it for recording ideas as they pop into my head. The only time it's not so clear is when I use it in a (moving) car - the engine noise takes over somewhat.

Before purchasing I had viewed Various voice recorders from numerous sites including manufacture sites (of course theirs is the best). I was looking for ease of use, battery life, and possible file segmentation.
This little baby has it all !. I am more than pleased with the simplicity of use. Easy record, easy playback, ability to move between 4 folders storing info in various folders, for the various tasks that I do.I have had mine now for a month now, I use it most days and I am on the original batteries, For somebody with heavy or excessive use rechargable batteries would probably be advantageous. I am more than happy to have de-cluttered my work area from post it notes and lost post it notes, if the machine is on my desk I have used it, check it!!. You know the situation you forgot to do something or lost the note. this machine really helps. And it is easy to use, I am NO tecno-phobe.

I like the compactness of this device, I use mine now for everything, shopping lists, my voluntary work. My big complaint is the fact the buttons are too easy to be pressed, for example, when you put it in your pocket, and I do waste a lot of time and battery power recording me walking about with the rustle of nothing in particular, because it's started recording when I put it in my pocket. A simple solution would be to recess the buttons in wells, or provide a simple keypad locking device like a mobile phone. The instruction manual was useless to me, as the print was too samll and I downloaded the online version and printed it in a size I could use.
