I bought this as a study help - I'm doing a Medical Administration course and use the VN2100 for medical terminology.
Love:
Its handy size, clear and easy to use, storage space, 5 folder divisions, add-on mic.

Great price too.

Perfect for my needs, couldn't ask for more!

I write up the general meetings, at which we usually have a speaker, for our club news sheet. Since most of our speakers use PowerPoint for their presentation I can't see to write when the lights go out, so I bought a voice recorder. I find that it not only picks up the speakers voice but also audience comments, even from the back of the room. End result; I am well pleased with the Olympus. JimR

My hand writing has deteriorated so I use this voice recorder, among other things, both to make notes on walks that I will be writing up for a web site and to make a record at what is said at meetings of an international charity, where the Committee meetings are held by a four-way conference call using Skype. It fully meets all my requirements even in windy conditions and when I am controlling the Skype connections. It is very compact, has ample capacity, picks up all the sometimes simultaneous comments in the meetings and its batteries last for ages.
