This flexible zoom lens comes with a unique screw drive mechanism, which is especially quiet. Like the Olympus Pen series cameras, the M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 75-300mm 1:4.8-6.7 lens is small (at a compact 70x116mm), lightweight and very portable. It weighs just 430g and boasts dimensions of a supremely manageable 70x116mm. As well as being convenient to carry it’s also extremely fast to focus thanks to high-speed contrast AF, making it perfect for expressive portraits and candid close ups of never-sit-still subjects such as children and animals. For the travel photographer it can capture stunning far-off details in the landscape, both natural and urban. For example, imagine the face of the Statue of Liberty in close up – yet, thanks to the extremely broad 150-600mm equivalent focal range on offer, shot from a vantage point on the ground. High image quality

Producing clear images and superb sharpness the M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 75-300mm 1:4.8-6.7 enhances the high performance of the Olympus Digital Pen Micro Four Thirds system cameras. When coupled with a Micro Four Thirds Live Mos sensor it delivers the image quality of a DSLR in a compact and easy to use camera, and allows Digital Pen owners to discover the fun and expanded creative possibilities of using an interchangeable lens camera system. The Pen series’ built-in compact dust reduction system, in the form of Supersonic Wave Filter (SSWF), adds to the lens’ performance by eliminating the particles that can otherwise intrude and attach themselves to the camera’s sensor when swapping lenses. The SSWF is a transparent filter located between the camera's shutter and sensor.
