When I purchased the Olympus, one of my main concerns was protection. It's a small and expensive piece of equipment, so I was first of all happy to see that someone had taken the time to design and make a case. And even more impressed by it's snug fit. The Olympus DS-2300 is already cute little thing, the case just enhances that fact!
