Product Description

Hi, I’m Olly Murs. Welcome to my journey through the seven Deadly Sins of Football. I’ll show you what happens when players get too greedy, when they get angry, when they get lazy (yes I had to look up what sloth meant!) as well as the best examples of what happens when pride comes before the ball… especially when it turns out to be a beach ball.

I’ll be getting envious at some of the best action you can see. And if you want even more, you gluttons, then some of the biggest names in the game will be giving me their opinion on the greedy, the idle, the proud… the lustful, in other words the biggest sinners in football… So sit back, relax, but don’t get slothful and join me for my seven deadly sins of football.

Also, featuring Ray Parlour, Alvin Martin, Jason Cundy, Ray Houghton and Micky Quinn, all on hand to lend their views on Olly’s list of deadliest sinners.

By Alex A.C.M VINE™ VOICE
When you consider the people that are usually associated with bringing out football 'gaffes and goals' type DVDs right before Christmas, Olly Murs might not seem like the most obvious choice to front one, given he's more well known for his music. However, even in spite of his recent presenting stint for 'The Xtra Factor' on ITV2 with Caroline Flack more than proving his worth in that field, he has more of a footballing background than people might be aware of.

He played mid-fielder professionally for his local club Witham Town F.C, and is a massive Manchester United fan. In between touring and promoting he was in Robbie Williams' team at Soccer Aid last year, and he still finds time to play with his amateur team Notley F.C. And thus we find ourselves at this DVD, '7 Deadly Sins of Football', where Olly introduces clips in his inimitable style of football's key figures that are well renowned for their greed, their laziness, their anger and much more besides, whilst getting in opinions from commentators at talkSPORT Radio.

Even though I'm not particularly au fait with football myself, even I had to laugh at some of the clips just from a pure humour angle - I won't mention names, but one involving an Aston Villa player and the random appearance of a beach ball on the pitch right before a goal was one of them! Overall, a kitsch but funny DVD that should make for an entertaining hour over the festive period.

5.0 out of 5 stars Olly Murs Shows hes more than just X-Factor 7 Mar 2012
Olly Murs the popstar and Manchester United fan presents this collection of clips of the seven deadly sins of football . Unlike other football DVDS Mur's is not just a collection of clips with his commentary in between instead over the clipsb of the lust, gluttony , envy , greed and the other seven dealy sins Murs has a collection of ex-players chosing their favourite . This panel includes Your on Sky Sports presnter and ex-Chelsea player , Jason Cundy and ex-Newcastle striker , Micky Quinn who give their views of clips of players such as Jermaine Defoe, Ryan Giggs , Andry Arshavin and Stephen Ireland .
Altogether this is a great DVD which I would recomend to any football fan .
