Then I saw this seller on Amazon who sells the olloclip for £20 less than everywhere else & with free shipping. I absolutely love the o'lloclip, on in less than 2 seconds & you can switch it around quickly to use the lens on the other side. It has a fisheye lens on one side giving approximately 180° field-of-view, on the other side is the wide-angle lens giving you approximately double the field-of-view than with the iPhone alone. Unscrew the wide-angle from the lens & underneath you have the macro lens. I've got some pretty good macro shots of my tarantulas, jumping spiders etc with my other cheaper macro lens, but I know the image quality will be even better with the o'lloclip as it has better quality optics. You get two lens caps to protect the optics & a neat little microfiber carrying bag to put it in which also doubles up as a lens cleaning cloth to remove dust & fingerprints from the optics.
Seriously, if you have seen the 'olloclip before but thought it too expensive then snap one up from this seller for £20 less than everywhere else before they're out of stock - you will not regret it!
Bear in mind that the fisheye lens gets some sgnificant distortion on the edges, but, to me, it just ads a great efect.
A must buy to anyone who's in iphoneography!
It's well made with glass optics. You really can't go wrong.
My favourite out of the three lenses is the macro lens. You can get really close to the subject, see all the detail, with quite a bit of defocus in the background. I attached four photos where I used the macro lens.
I use the wide lens when I want to get a bit more information in my photo. The distortion you get is noticeable, but I use an app to undistort the photo so I still have a nice wide photo without the distortion.
I rarely use the fish-eye lens. I'm not a big fan of the distortion, but I can see some people having fun with it.
It's worth buying these lenses, just for the macro lens if you like close-up detail photography.
As for practicality it fits perfectly on the corner of the iPhone and doesn't move ones it's there. The only problem I have with it is that it sometimes peels up the screen protecter which causes bubbles but apart from that it's a perfect attachment for anyone wanting to do some filming or photography.

I needed to take some pictures of the interior of I flat I was putting up for rent. This wide-angle lens was a neat and cost-effective way to get the whole room in one shot. Read morePublished 12 months ago by MR BARRIE D BREWSTER
Very good product at an excellent price; only 4 stars as the wide angle lens does not give a very wide angle of view.Published 15 months ago by Mr M j Marshall
