The olloclip is a multi-use lens solution for the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S. Its quick and convenient to use giving you a 3 in 1 photo lens solution; fisheye, wide-angle and macro lenses all come in a small package that easily fits in your pocket. The olloclip can be efficiently clipped onto your iPhone within a matter of seconds meaning you'll be ready to capture the images you want , at all times.
The Fisheye lens captures approximately a 180 degree field-of-view. The Wide-Angle lens is great for when you need that extra field of view (approximately double that of the normal iPhone) creating impressive panoramic images. The Macro lens applies roughly a 10X multiplier and allows you to focus the iPhone within 12-15mm of the subject (for some super close-up pictures).
The Macro lens is cleverly concealed within the olloclip and can be accessed by unscrewing the Wide-Angle lens that is normally attached to it so if you don't see the picture you're looking for, just a minor adjustment is required to switch lenses.
The olloclip comes with a carrying bag made from a microfibre material that doubles as a lens cleaner and also conveniently holds the supplied-lens caps or the Wide-Angle lens when removed for Macro shots.

The olloclip is a great toy for your iPhone 4(s). It comes with a pouch, it's quite small, and it gives you macro, wide angle and fish-eye all at once. Yay! I'll take you through the three options:
WIDE ANGLE:
The smaller lens. It gives you a significantly wider view of a room or place so you can fit more in when you just can't "Back 'dat up" any more. This is probably the most "useful" of the features, as the barrel distortion is minimal and most people won't notice that there's anything different about it unless you show them a side-by-side with a picture taken without any attachments. The iPhone's lens is frustratingly narrow in view, especially in video. This helps fix that.
FISH-EYE:
The most fun of the options on the olloclip. It allows you to take some really cool-looking shots. Portraits taken with this thing can be particularly hilarious, though it won't do you any favours in the looks department. :D Obviously, it has massive barrel distortion. That's kind of the point. More frustrating is how muddy the picture gets outside the central sweet spot. It's a shame, but as this is a "for fun" feature, it's not really a massive issue. Taking pictures, it leaves black at the corners. Taking video, the camera just about crops off all the black and you get a cool, ultra-wide-angle shot that's probably useful for the sk8er k1d5 among you. I wouldn't really know about that myself.
MACRO:
Take the wide angle lens off and you've got AMAZING MACRO!!!! Wooohooo!!! Sounds brilliant, and it can be. You get really really close to the subject and can achieve some incredible detail. However, you do have to get so close that you're almost touching what you're taking pictures of. Yeah, it doesn't really give you any zoom, just allows you to focus more close up. Well, I say "allow", but what I mean is "force". Once you take the wide angle off, you physically cannot focus on anything further away than... an inch. Tops. As you can probably imagine, this leads to difficulties with shadowing the subject and also living subjects running away before you get anywhere near close enough.
All in all, great fun, but flawed in a lot of minor ways. I give it a 4 star rating rather than a 3 as it really is that much fun and also a good talking point.

Beautifully made, simple to use, versatile and giving remarkably good image quality. The surprise for me is how good the macro is. The least impressive is the wide angle but its still good. All in all the best Iphone gadget this year.

This has to be the best add on accessory for an iPhone 4 or 4s. I've had one since summer '11 and I'm always using it.
It's easy to use, you have the choice of three add-on lens' to compliment the awesome iPhone camera. You get wide-angle, fish-eye and marco all in a nice and simple design.
If you purchase this and camera+ from the app store, you'll have the two best add-ons for an iPhone.
