Looks great, boils quick and is well made - however, is more design than function.

The handle, when poring, is over the spout, so your hand gets quickly steamed; so you have to be fast or juggle it from the back. Second the lid catch when wet from steam or recently poured water is slippy and has no grip (no grooves) and not easy to open.

Not a kettle for the old or someone with poor dexterity. A kettle for someone with a stylish kitchen, who wants looks over function.

Do not buy this if you want a kettle to last.
Customer service is in Hong Kong and ignores emails.
Difficult to take off lid.
Noisy.
Design over substance.
