There are several live acoustic versions of Old Enough and Top Yourself kicking around on sources of varying degrees of legality, but this is one just lovely. The video for it is on the band's official site and well worth checking out. It features ( the unknown to me ) singer Ashley Monroe and the legendary Ricky Scaggs. It just goes to show, (as did the, on paper bizarre, but on stage magical, selection of covers on the first tour) how imaginative and eclectic this band is .
Only quibble it's pricey for 2 song single CD.

Today in the age of Internet, to charge such a price for a two song cd is outrageous. This is a great band but this has nothing to do with the music.

They Knocked This One Out of the Park!!! 10 April 2009
By Edmund J. Meurer III - Published on Amazon.com
Late one night I saw this on GAC's "The Edge of Country" and I've been searching for it for weeks. Being a Bluegrass fan, I was not familiar with the Raconteurs. This song is an amazing departure from the Indie Rock themes. Ashley's voice perfectly balances Jack's and Rickey's mandolin playing is spectacular. Here is their video of the raw song: [...]

HONESTY in the era of lies 8 July 2011

I've already heard this songs before purchasing the cd... already have all other albums by the Raconteurs... they won't ever get old for me... they're versatile, and sound amazing... pure honest music in the era of electronic manipulation of music and all art forms.

I've heard better from these guys, but I get it.......The colaboration. The Raconteurs are a good band and offer variety, but this song, for me, was just mediocre.

The Raconteurs and Ricky Skaggs may seem to be an unlikely team, but This collaboration of eclectic musicians is perfect for this song.
