A great album that I hadn't heard in years. Took me back to my younger days, put a smile on my face and brought a tear to my eye.

Pure, unadulterated, traditional country! 8 May 2006
By Sharon Korchnak - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
This is one of Randy's best (which is saying a lot, I like all of his music) - second only to Storms of Life - I own this album in all media forms, from vinyl LP to CD - and I still savor each song as a treasure of pure country music!

Wonderful Cd 2 April 2011

This is a great cd , I grew up listening to country music and have always liked Randy Travis , his songs have a lot of meaning and makes a lot of sense when you listen to it . The words in his songs seem to go straight to the heart no matter if it's about a love gone wrong , or whatever kind of song , I have always loved Randy Travis , and just like all his other cd's for anyone who likes Randy Travis should get this cd , it's a great one . :)

Great listening 10 Mar. 2010

A lot of original songs not on other CD's. Nothing like listening to Randy all day long. He is one of a kind. You can tell him from all those other Country singers that all sound alike.

Randy Travis rules 11 Jun. 2009
By Kerry Macphail - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD Verified Purchase
Randy Travis rules country music to this day, many years after he released Old 8x10. His rich, true voice works wonders on these authentic country songs. There is not a bad song or a bad note on this album. If you want real music and not that screaming stuff that's out there now, Randy Travis is the very best. 25 years after his career began in earnest, his music remains remains unsurpassed to this day for its quality.

Really smooth music for when you're in the mood... 12 Jun. 2000
By Sudarshan Purohit - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
This album, as it stands, is realy good. Why doesnt it get a 5, then ? Because it's really good to listen to when you're in a mellow, emotional sort of mood, but not good enough to draw you into that mood if you're feeling otherwise. All the songs, especially the title one, are the quiet flowing type, perfect for putting on when you're trying to get some work done. And Mr. Travis' voice complements them perfectly in it's smoothness.
