I bought this bike seat for my daughter when she was about 10 months old, and have used it to take her to nursery every day until very recently - so for nearly 2 years (I have only stopped using it now as I'm 6 months pregnant and it was getting to be hard work to carry her and my bump on the bike all the time!).
I seem to recall that fitting it in the first place was a bit tricky (and involved lots of swearing from my husband), and there were bits missing from the translated instructions, but once it was on it stayed on securely for all the time I was using it.
The adjustable footrests and straps are great for accomodationing growing children, and the fact that it can be reclined is very handy (my daughter was always falling asleep on the way home, so it made it a bit more comfy for her - It was suggested to me that a reclining one was a very good idea, or your child can end up head-butting you in the back as they doze off!). Having said that, she did still sometimes lean sideways when asleep.
The seat is still 100% intact, even though it has been thrown in the back of cars (still attached to the bike - I can't remember the code I put in to the combination lock, so can't remove it!), left out in the rain, snow, frost, sun etc during the day at work.
The base seat pad is removeable (attached by velcro) which is handy for drying it after downpours. The back seat pad is also removeable, but you have to undo the straps from the back of the bike to take it off completely (I tended to just undo the velcro and hang it over the back of the seat to dry out).
All in all, a great product which has served me well (and I hope will continue to do so in the future).

Bought one of these last week, easy enough to fit, and sturdy. My daughter is delighted by it and really enjoys the experience. The item came with a good selection of fitting brackets for various frame sizes and was very easy to adjust to get the centre of gravity correct. I'm very happy with it so far!
