I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and becoming involved (albeit secondhandedly!) with the toils and tribulations of getting to grips with life with minipigs! There were moments of sheer unadulterated hilarity and also some tear-jerking moments as the saga unfolded. I took this book out to Oz with me and passed it on to my daughter who is currently just as engrossed as I was with Matt's triumphs and disasters! An excellent read!

I absolutely loved this book - although in between the laughter there was a moment of tears. It is a fantastically well portrayed slice of family life... very real, even if you struggle with the idea of anything more than a dog or cat! Good luck to the Whymans and their menagerie... look forward to reading what comes next!

Please be aware that this book is the same as PIG IN THE MIDDLE by the same author!!I made the mistake of thinking it was anew book by the same author!!!!I really enjoyed this book, the author write very similar to Deric Longden and is just as funny. There were many , many laugh out loud moments in the book, its a lovely book to read and one I will treasure for a long time.Its not made me think about keeping mini pigs though.
