If you've not encountered DEVO before, shame on you! But unless you spent time in the 1980s, it's probably not your fault. This collection contains two of Devo's essential releases, "Freedom Of Choice" (1980) and "Oh, No! It's Devo" (1982), though somewhat irritatingly, these releases are not coupled chronologically, but this is a moot point. "Oh, No! It's Devo" features Devo after they had shifted from a guitar-based New Wave / Post-Punk sound prevalent in "Freedom Of Choice" into a fun, cynical cartoon synth-based band, all the songs are short, catchy, brilliant, and perhaps most importantly, entertaining. It's got "Whip It" so that's all you need to know, really!
