I work with 2-3 year olds, and this is a firm favourite, requested often by the children. The children love to lift the flaps and to make the noises of the animals. They all love to say 'Oh dear'. I would recommend this for children from 1.A pleasure to read

This is the first book my one-year old has asked me to read over-and-over-and-over again. She has lots of books, so this one really must have something special, but I don't know what.

This book was bought by me after giving the same one to friends who live on a farm. Am I glad that I did. My daughter was only one when we started reading this to her but from the beginning it was always being brought to us to read. Imagine our surprise when the first words our little girl said at 14 months were 'Oh tear' (the nearest she can manage to oh dear).
It is a simple book which parents can add to by making noises and despite the number of times I've read it to her even I'm still not bored! Definitely recommended

A must have for all toddlers
This is a lovely book and is ideal as a 'first' book, but also can be enjoyed by slightly older children too. My son is 3 and still enjoys reading it. Read more

Getting young ones reading

Highly recommended reading for adults... oh, and toddlers
