This is a happy trip down memory lane for those of us over 50 who can remember when these 'Oh Brother' series were first broadcast back in the late '60s and very early '70s. Derek Nimmmo is - as another reviewer has rightly written - excellent as the accident-prone but pure, guilless, innocent and well-meaning monk, Brother Dominic. Also impressive and memorable is Felix Aylmer as Father Prior: he represents the kindliness, paternal authority and calm of a true man of God. He's quite inspiring in some ways - especially in his great forbearance! If you like gentle British T.V. from the late 1960s, you may well like this series. As the previous reviewer said, what a pity that more episodes have not been preserved. Still, we are lucky to have these. The gentle humour is still fresh, and the colour of the episodes is very good. I recommend 'Oh Brother.'
