“Let me in! Something terrible has happened!”
Psychologist Julie Taylor loves her primitive little cabin 3,000-feet high in the north Georgia mountains. It’s woodsy and peaceful…until the night her neighbor, Lilly, bursts in, announcing she found a dead man on her living room floor. But upon investigation, Julie can’t find any intruders.
“All I know is, there was, and now there isn’t,” Lilly insists.
Could she be lying? Hallucinating? Could someone have moved the body? Or is something more sinister going on?
Ben Williams, a Marietta lawyer who has helped some of Julie’s clients, has his doubts about the story. Might Lilly have seen something that didn’t exist?
Then Lilly starts to lose chunks of hours from her memory, and a black car starts to tail her. A stranger terrifies her by warning her not to tell. But not to tell what? Lilly can’t remember…
Action, suspense, and romance on Oglethorpe Mountain.
