5.0 out of 5 stars This book is very educational 25 Mar 2013
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
It teaches not only the early names of the trees that were revered in the celtic period but also how to read the cards and discern their meaning and relevance in the present day.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not particularly historically accurate 12 Mar 2013
By N.J.
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
Nice enough artwork, but not a particularly accurate representation of the Ogham. Strongly influenced by Robert Graves and his not-always-historical take on the tree lore. A very beautiful set of cards, all the same.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good Things Come In Small Packages 11 Aug 2007
By Harrison B. Setzler - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
I was initially dubious as to how detailed a reading could be expected from a 21 card set, but this quickly became the deck I most relied on for accurate, in-depth information. The artwork is beautifully reproduced and the accompanying book is simple and to-the-point.

5.0 out of 5 stars I love this deck! 2 Mar 2006

Format:Paperback
This deck is very pretty and very detailed. You can look at a few of the card pictures in a site called aeclectictarot.com.

3.0 out of 5 stars OK deck, not what I expected 15 Nov 2006
By Domestic Goddess - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
This is an OK Deck. I guess it's just not what I was expecting. I realized there are far fewer cards in an Ogham deck than in a regular Oracle or Tarot, however, the only thing written on each card, besides the artwork, is the name of the tree and the Ogham writing. I thought there would be a small message along with the name of the tree, so until you become extremely knowledgeable of the Ogham tree alphabet, you have to drag out the little book that came with it. All in all, it's not worth the money unless you are very familiar with the Ogham alphabet.
