Buffy has been a TV and publishing phenomenon with countless official and not so official books appearing to cash in the hippest TV series for years. For those who don't know, Buffy Summers is a 16-year-old Californian girl who has been chosen for the awful task of slaying the undead with an array of weapons, a few handy martial arts moves and a killer dress sense. For newcomers to the show, a lot of the material is simply too ingrained in backstory to make much sense, but for those devoted to all things Buffy, it will make a great addition to their bookshelf. The photos are great and authors Golden and Holder have put so much enthusiasm and care into the book that you can't help but devour it. A fantastic book which ties in perfectly with season three of this fantastic series. Quirky items and glossy pictures add to the well designed format of the book making a great read and a real must have for all die hard Buffy fans. Check out the student quotes for some inspiring sayings such as,"You only live once but if you do it right once is enough!" And i honestly believe the creators of this book got it right first time!!!!!!!

When I first saw this book I thought it was just a lame idea thought up by someone to make money, but then I noticed who it was written by. I have read other books by these authors and loved them - this one stands up to my expectations.
Obviously not a book to read if you do not watch Buffy, it includes many 'insider' comments from the Scooby Gang and it is obviously well thought out and imaginative making it seem like a genuine yearbook. Only one warning - British viewers / readers be careful if you have only seen Buffy on the BBC, as the book jacket says, this travels all the way upto Graduation (end of series 3) and so some things might not make sense and may contain some (small) spoilers.
Overall, a brilliant book that no true Buffy fan should be without!

If you are a fan of the show you will love this book. It's not a cheesy cash in, but a well thought out and methodical 'behind the scenes' look at Sunnydale High. Anyone who has ever appeared in the series is in here somwhere, even if they only had a few lines. It's presented like a yearbook and has lots of cool pics and quotes. Well worth it.

Bets pics of Buff I've ever seen
Best Buffy book out yet. Lots of pics of Buffy and the rest of the scooby gang including pics of Faith, Kendra, Spike and Dru. Every Buff fan should get this book

Really groovy.
