I am an obsessive fan of Strictly Come Dancing, and follow each series right through to the end, and of course the Strictly Come Dancing Specials come Children In Need and Christmas time. This book is just fabulous, it gives you plenty of information about the professional dancers and the celebs who battle it out on the dance floor, introduces you to new judge Alesha Dixon, who I take my hat off to as she makes a good judge since she will look at the dance from a personal point of view which is always helpful to the non dancers, gives you some handy tips on how to dance certain dances, is packed full of fun games like quizzes, spot the difference and a quest to see whether you can reach the final on a fancy round picture of a stage, and none other than a few pages dedicated to the legendary Bruce Forsyth and from up North, Mrs. Tess Daly! If I remember rightly, Brucie stars in a film called "Bedknobs and Broomsticks", as a gangster called Swinburne, and who can forget the entertaining lines he'll come out with, such as, "Nice to see you, to see you", and, "It's time to meet the stars of our show". My favourite judge of all time has got to be Bruno, of course, I still love Len whenever he flourishes his signature number seven, but Bruno has always got to jump out of his seat as if he's just sat on a floppy cushion, wave his arms about like a monkey and grab Alesha, which is always a laugh, and I love reading his sometimes frantic, sometimes sexy quotes, also, I like to put on an Italian accent myself. Craig, well, the least I can say about him is that he'll be honest, and it's obvious when he doesn't like the way a dance has been executed, and I love putting on his Aussie accent for specific words like "D-U-Double L-Dull". Overall this book is well worth the read, and the pictures are just wonderful, what woman can't tire of looking at the outfits the female celebrities wear, and of course one of the most famous was Anne Widdecombe's canary yellow dress from 2011 in Blackpool!
