I bought one of these chargers as my daughter and I love the Raving Rabbids games.

I was disappointed however by 3 things...

1/ The rechargable NiMH batteries are only 800mAh which means they go flat very quick. Most NiMH are around 2000mAh so a much bigger capacity.

2/ The eyes on the Rabbid turn red when charging and blue when FULLY charged. However one of the rabbids eyes never changed blue and stayed red all the time even after hours of charging. The poor electronics in the rabbid didn't realise one of the Wii controllers was fully charged.

3/ The rabbid charger is not powered by the Wii and has to be plugged into another mains socket. I prefer chargers that use the Wii's own USB power.

Overal, I was disappointed with the reliability and battery capacity size and wished I'd just bought a normal looking USB battery WII charger.

So basically if you like the look of it and forgive it's sins it's up to you to decide whether it's worth the £20 price tag or not.

Cool charger! 9 Oct 2011
Fun:
The charger looks really cool in the living room. One of the arms needs some extra skill to keep in permanent contact while charging, but not a big deal. No more batteries for me ;)

not so good 14 Nov 2010

Appearence wise this product is what you expect. The battery life is not the best, but it is ok. My problem is that the battery charges from an open space behind the controller and it doesn't always make contact, so I have to push and move the controller to start it charging and don't accidentally move it as it will loose the connection! At least the blue/red lights are a good indicator of what is happening - and looks pretty too.
