One of the most anticipated RPGs ever, Final Fantasy VII is a classic game. A classic game deserves a classic strategy guide, and Brady Games' FF7 guide is nearly unbeatable. Whatever you're looking for or need help on, this book has it.

This version of the guide is especially for the PC version of FF7, but I have the PlayStation version and it works just fine with that too. The tips and tactics are solid, the screenshots crisp and clear, and the information on Materia and Chocobos contained in this book is invaluable for gamers ready to master Final Fantasy VII.

One complaint that gamers may have with the guide is that in some areas of the game, there isn't really much detail or tips to get you through. Overall, this may be a good thing, because it doesn't give away too much of the story, but for certain areas the guide may just say something along the lines of, "Find the exit, making sure to pick up the items along the way". However, this is the only real situation where this happens.

A consise, thick, and well-worth-your-money book, Brady Games' official Final Fantasy VII strategy guide (boy, that's a mouthful) is a must-have for fans of the game, and gamers who want to get the most bang for their buck.

Youve got the game. Youre stuck. Who do u turn to? you buy this book of course! I was only an average Final Fantasy 7 player until i got this guide. It tells u the location of EVERY item, monster, weapon and ALL the materia in the game. It helped me to defeat All of the weapons including Ultima weapon, Ruby weapon and Emerald weapon with its powerful materia guides. Buy it now - Its worth it!!

I bought this guide book after completing the game twice without it, and I am very glad that I did...

Nothing compares to going through a game with no guide the first time - it feels great when you solve a puzzle or discover a secret for yourself, and also there is no temptation to read a few pages ahead and find out what will happen next. I guess I am weak-willed!

The guide itself looks a little dated inside, and there are some missing bits of info. However, it will tell you everything you need to get the Golden Chocobo, defeat Ruby and Emerald Weapons, and get everybodys' ultimate limit break and weapon. I also find it much better than printing a guide from a website, as it is a lot easier on the eye, and contains some basic background info on each character.

As an additional note, this is a much better guide than the FFIX guide, which constantly suggests people go to playonline.com to find the games secrets. The FFVII guide is generally complete, and a great addition to any gamers library.

Well, this guide is very bad but at the same time very good.

It will get you through the game and almost all of the secrets but the tables, lists etc are DREADFUL. Read more

Not 100%
People who generally buy walkthroughs tend to want to complete a game to the fullest or at least find all the important sub-plots, items, weapons etc. That's where this fails. Read more

not the best guide but has some handy points
This is a reasonably good guide to assist with playing Final Fantasy 7. It is poor in parts, but some of the hints and tips and location information is invaluable. Read more
