I bought this to replace a 2008/2009 'driving test success' DVD-ROM that sadly got broken. Unlike it's predecessor, this one features hardly any hazard perception videos, it is spread over 2 discs (one of which is an 'interactive DVD' NOT a PC programme) and it replays every hazard perception video after you've already seen it only with an annoying voice-over telling you what you should've done, but couldn't because of the DVD format's woefully lagged response time. (not a hardware issue, it's set up for use on the TV for some reason...)
What's more, you have to enter a pin code every time you want to a mock hazard perception test comprising of the same 10, short videos over and over again (unlike the 'driving test success DVD-ROM that had over 80 training videos). Sometimes the DVD skips telling you your score, and doesn't even bother to tell you whether or not you've passed the hazard perception part of the test once you've finished it. That said, the other disc containing the theory questions is alright, though it doesn't track your progress as well as 'driving test success'.
Having already taken (and failed) my theory test on my first try, I figured this more up-to-date revision tool would be just the job. I couldn't have been more wrong. Avoid it like the plague and get the aforementioned 'driving test sucess' DVD-ROM. This software is NOT an accurate representation of the real thing, despite baring the DSA logo...
