I was very pleased with the book. it contained a lot of really interesting information about the Carry On films and the speed of delivery was excellent, it arrived two days after ordering.

This is to be a birthday present for my brother who is a fan of the carry on's. The content of the book from my quick flick through looks very interesting with statistics such as how long films took to make, locations, casts and character references and the odd photograph - so all good on that front.
However, the condition that this book arrived in is poor.
The cover of this book is made from some sort of hard plastic. The back is covered in scatches as though it's been chucked across the floor.
To add to my disappointment, and even worse is that the outer cover is acctually split/cracked right down the side. Gutted as I won't have enough time to send it back and get another in time as his birthday is at the weekend now. Really upset, if it was for me I would live with it. Could be secondhand, who knows?

Pointless but fun
It's hard to think what more could be written about these films! But this book goes some way towards teaching Carry On fans a few things you may not otherwise have known. Read more
