As a trainer of these applications, I have received much positive feedback on this book! It is not a book I would recommend to learn the applications from scratch, but to keep as a reference after attending training. The book allows people to very easily reference how to quickly complete a task, and then references people to the page(s) where they can learn/refresh on how to properly complete a task/function more in-depth.

This book supposes to be an introduction to Office 97, but I bet you won't be satisfied with the material in this book. You might as well buy a more comprehensive book for a couple of bucks more. The material presented in this book can be got from the help the software provides, or even through experimentation for a couple of hours of free time. I too can write a book like this, and if you will buy this one, you might as well buy mine. Thank my fortune for checking this out from a library and not buying it!

Useless and too simple to be of any value.
